Women Veterans are Key to the Future of STEM

As women Veterans continue to make great strides in education and entrepreneurship, they may also be key to the future of the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) workforce. Although women remain underrepresented in the STEM workforce, making up only 27% of STEM workers, women Veterans pursue STEM-related careers at double the rate of their non-Veteran counterparts. 

STEM careers can be pursued using the GI Bill, as well as other benefits, such as the Edith Nourse Rogers STEM Scholarship and the Veteran Employment Through Technology Education Courses.
